Broadway's finest gather to see actress Natasha Richardson laid to rest
Natasha Richardson was laid to rest this weekend during an emotional funeral in upstate New York.
The actress's husband, Liam Neeson, was joined at her grave by Natasha's mother, Vanessa Redgrave, her sister, Joely Richardson, and her two sons, Michael and Daniel.
Appearing strong for the family, he even urged the theatrical dynasty to stand and allow waiting paparazzi to take their pictures before the private event.
The day before the funeral, a private wake took place in New York City, where the likes of Uma Thurman, Diane Sawyer, Sarah Jessica Parker and Ralph Fiennes gathered to pay their respects.
Following the wake, Natasha's coffin, covered with an Irish claddagh, was driven 90 miles north of the city to the family's Hudson Valley farmhouse, before making its final journey to a nearby cemetery.

Instead of flowers, the family have asked that donations be made to the Aids research organisation amfAF, a charity Natasha had supported for some time, including three years on the charity's board of trustees.
