Can you spot Miley Cyrus' secret tribute to Liam Hemsworth?
Oh, these two.
Oh, these two.
Words by Jadie Troy-Pryde
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met on the set of The Last Song back in 2009 and quickly became a couple. They became one of the most talked about couples in Hollywood, dating for four years before getting engaged in 2013.
But amidst rumours of weddings and breakups, the pair split later that year and Miley has since opened up about how and why they called it a day.
However, proving that true love really does exist, they reunited in 2016 and have been living their happy-ever-after since. Miley's new song, Malibu, is about falling back in love with Liam, and she admitted to SiriusXM: 'I think people that break up and get back together, that's awesome.
'You get time to be yourself, you get time to grow up. I think if you're growing up attached to another person, you never really get solid as your own being.
'So I'm really solid, and then he gets to be really solid.'

She has most definitely undergone a transformation since her Wrecking Ball days, and considering that her new music is about Liam it's fitting that during her first ever live performance of Malibu she paid tribute to Liam in the sweetest way - although it's so subtle that you probably missed it.
Miley sang to the crowds at Wango Tango music festival on Saturday, wearing an all-white outfit complete with a necktie and her signature statement jewellery. However, hidden among her accessories was an earring spelling out 'LIAM' in silver letters.
How sweet!
We're so glad that these two are giving things another go. During an interview, Miley also said: 'Together we get to be two really grounded people. It's not a half and a half making a whole.'
Sage advice, Cyrus.
