It’s no secret that we love getting the inside scoop when it comes to celebrity couples (because we’re only human). So when Miley Cyrus dished about Liam Hemsworth on The Howard Stern Show, we were here. for. it. During a recent sit-down with Stern, the songbird opened up about her relationship and how she feels when her BF has an attractive costar.
You may remember that the pair met as costars themselves on the set of the 2010 romantic drama The Last Song based on the Nicholas Sparks novel. Miley got real about how she feels when she finds out Liam will be starring opposite another girl.
'I get that little butterfly in my stomach,' she said. '[But] I know me and I know what our relationship is.'
She also noted that she’s fully aware that dating an actor who has to pretend to be in love with other women on the regular isn’t really normal. 'It’s fucking abnormal, I think, but my life is abnormal.'

And, in true Miley fashion, she candidly revealed that she does keep tabs on her man, as cool as she tries to be about his on-screen romances.
'I keep my little spies. So I don’t always have to be there.'
Miley also spoke up about why she thinks it’s importance to maintain your independence while in a relationship, especially while both parties are young and growing into themselves.
'I don’t like when relationships are too halves trying to make a whole. It’s that "I can’t eat, I can’t sleep."
'Well, that’s because you’re so used to depending on someone else. So I don’t think that I have that codependency anymore.'
Miley’s honesty is definitely admirable. It also seems like the lovebirds are in a great place, and we’re so happy for them.
