The hardest-working musicians of 2013 have been revealed, and there isn’t a twerking star in sight.
Rihanna and Miley Cyrus may have dominated the headlines with their controversial music videos and on-stage antics, but neither sultry songstress has been commended for their hard-work ethic.
Surprised?
Songkick complied the list by using data calculated to determine which acts have played the most live shows and covered the most miles.
LA’s Local Natives topped the list with 188 gigs under their belts and a total of 192, 486 miles covered.
Kendrick Lemar was hot on their heels after 171 shows and 229,583 miles traveled.

Boyband hearttrobs One Direction DID make the list, but landed much lower than you’d expect (considering they’re on the brink of world domination), with a 7th placing under Mercury Price winners Alt-J, who came 3rd.
Ellie Goulding, Tegan and Sara, Foals and Two Door Cinema Club also made the top 20 list, alongside 80-year-old country star Willie Nelson.
