EXCLUSIVE! Mila Kunis speaks to Marie Claire how she perceives her success
Mila Kunis may have parts in some of the biggest films of the decade along with a couple of Golden Globe nominations under her small belt but she reveals she struggles to believe it’s from her own hard graft. Which of course it very much is, combined with her very specific talent.
MILA KUNIS ON LEARNING TO HAVE FUN
But when we caught up with Mila Kunis aka one of the brightest stars in Hollywood right now, she wasn’t in agreement when we suggested she was ambitious, she said: ‘I don’t know if I have been ambitious I guess I must have been.’
Judging from her success so far, we think there must have been a fair dose of tenacity to achieve what she has. ‘When ‘70s ended I went on a mission to prove everybody wrong,’ she said. ‘I read for movies I would never do. I auditioned for everything just to show I could do it.’ MILA KUNIS: MAKING MOVIES CAN GET TOO MUCH
Instead of looking at what she was about to achieve before Black Swan and the numerous projects that followed, Mila focused on trying to remove herself with comedy and television associations, ‘I need to prove I was capable of doing things other than – forget comedy – other than a TV show.’
And that she most certainly has achieved.
