Michelle Williams ended her relationship with Jason Segel because she 'wasn't ready to commit'

Michelle Williams apparently called it quits with Jason Segel after it also became increasingly hard to maintain their long distance relationship

We thought this couple were in it for the long run, but alas Michelle Williams has apparently called it quits with Jason Segel because she 'wasn't ready to commit'.

“She cares a great deal for Jason but is not ready to make a commitment. Maybe if they were together day-to-day, she would have more confidence in a future. But not at this time.”

Such a shame considering they were so magically happy when they were spotted out and about!

But we get that long distance can be a total pain in the derriere especially when one person has a child to look out for.

Even though Michelle and Jason took steps to be in one place at a new home, she needed one big ol' step from him. The source explained:

“Jason never got rid of his place in L.A., and Michelle's life with [daughter] Matilda was and has always been in New York. While Jason made every effort to make them a priority in his life – and they were top priority – he still couldn't drop everything and leave his life and career in L.A.”

According to the same insider, the long-distance pressures of Jason being based in LA and Michelle in New York with daughter Matilda, proved too much of a strain too.
