The holiday season may be well and truly over but that doesn’t mean Michelle Obama’s fashion know-how comes to an end. Instead she used her White House homecoming as another excuse to showcase her style powers.

As the Obamas stepped off their helicopter on the White House’s grounds, Michelle proved even her casual attire can be chic. Clad in black jeans with a khaki t-shirt she added a twist with a waterfall front jacket adding interest with a purple scarf.
To cement her place as a key fashion player she wore large sunnies and kept her hair off her face with an Alice band.

The family returned home after spending the Christmas break in Hawaii, as photographers welcomed them back, the First Lady put a comforting arm around her youngest daughter, Sasha.

Before touching town in Washington D.C, Michelle departed from Honolulu airport in a printed dress more suited to warmer climes. She coved up in a black shrug before getting changed on board for a cooler climate back home.
With a strong style turnaround such as this, we certainly salute her fashion choices.
