Baby Spice: Mel C gives birth to daughter Scarlett Starr
Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has given birth to a little girl called Scarlett Starr.
The singer welcomed Scarlett Starr – her baby with partner Thomas Starr – on Sunday.
The little tot weighed in at a healthy 8lbs, 3oz and her arrival was announced on Mel's website.
It read: 'Melanie C gave birth to a beautiful little girl at 4.10pm on Sunday 22nd February. Both mum and baby are doing well.'
Thomas and Mel have been together for six years, and this is the first foray into parenthood for both of them.
Mel C is the last of the Spice Girls to become a mum and, before the birth, she said she would be calling on all of them for advice, saying: 'They're all mums and they're all really good mums.'
Victoria Beckham has three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz; Emma Bunton has a son Beau; Geri Halliwell has a daughter Bluebell; and Melanie Brown has two daughters, Phoenix and Angel.
And now there's little Scarlett Starr to add to the celebrity playgroup.
