Former Spice Girl gives birth to third daughter
Mel B and husband Stephan Belafonte welcomed a baby girl to the world last night.
The former Spice Girl gave birth to her third daughter at the Los Angeles Cedars Sinai Hospital, the same place former band mate Victoria Beckham had daughter Harper Seven in July.
Mel, who is also mum to Phoenix Chi, 12, and Angel, four, took to her Twitter account to share her happy news: 'Finally our baby arrives, Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!'
She is yet to reveal the name of her new little girl.
Earlier this week Mel said that she had tried everything from spicy foods to sex in an attempt to induce her overdue labour.
She said: 'Ideally I want it to come naturally, but I've tried everything. I've tried the hot food, the running, the sex and violence.

'I've tried it all. And it just seems to be stuck and hibernating in there getting bigger and bigger, so it's coming out this week for sure.
'Phoenix and Angel will be there with me during my labour, which is just as well as Stephen will be a complete nightmare. He'll probably pass out and require medical attention.'
Mel's publicist confirmed: 'This evening Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte welcomed their new baby girl in Los Angeles.
'This is the first child for Mel and Stephen and both mum and baby are happy, healthy and doing well.'
Congratulations Mel and Stephan!
