This is what 'disgruntled' palace staff call Meghan Markle (apparently)
Charming.
Charming.
Meghan Markle was the most Googled person of 2018, and since it was announced that she's expecting her first child with Prince Harry back in September, interest in the former Suits star has only grown.
From potential baby names, to how the couple will decorate the nursery, the world has wanted to know everything about Baby Sussex.
However, she has also been plagued by rumours that she's 'feuding' with sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, and has had to deal with an onslaught of negative headlines. Several members of her team have also handed in their notice in recent months, and the rumour mill went into overdrive once again following the couple's decision to move to Frogmore Cottage and split from Prince William and Kate to create their own royal household.
Now, a report is claiming that those around her have employed a rather nasty term for Meghan.
According to an article by Tatler, titled One Year of Meghanomania, some 'disgruntled' palace staff have nicknamed the Duchess of Sussex 'Me-Gain'.
The piece also recalls how Sarah Ferguson was also given various nicknames when she became part of the royal family, but 'Meghan has seen nothing like that – even though staff at Kensington Palace are now calling her ‘Me-Gain’.'

It comes not long after reports that Meghan has been given another name by royal staff. A few months ago, The Mail on Sunday claimed that household staff called her 'Hurricane Meghan', alleging that she gets up at 5am every morning, sends multiple texts to staff about her role as Duchess and has a 'formidable work ethic'.
The Duchess of Sussex reportedly finds it hard to ignore the negativity.
A royal insider told Us Weekly: 'She’s always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling.
'She’s always been so independent, her entire life, and that’s all been taken away from her. She’s always been able to clap back on social media and now she can’t.'
If this is the case, it’s completely understandable – however, considering she is due to give birth in a few weeks we’re sure that Meghan is too busy preparing for her new arrival to worry about any gossip.
