Wait, is Meghan Markle returning to acting again?
We will never say no to seeing more of the Duchess
Words by Maisie Bovingdon
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6, and the family of three made their first public appearance two days later.
After marrying the Duke of Sussex last May, Meghan gave up her career in acting, which saw her reach huge success playing the role of Rachel Zane in Suits.
But the 37-year-old royal is wanted back on the big screens.
Meghan's Suits co-star Wendell Pierce - who played her on-screen father in the series - thinks there is still huge potential for the new parent in the entertainment business and hopes she will act again.
Speaking to the Evening Standard, Wendell - who is starring in Death of a Salesman - said: 'The thing I am very interested in is if she will ever get the opportunity to act again? I know protocol doesn’t allow her to do it now, but to be going through this experience here with Death of a Salesman, I wish this on every actor.
'I understand what it is like to come to the theatre with a group of people like I’m working with and to experience a text like this and to commune in a very cathartic way with an audience. I shudder to think she’s not going to get that any more.'

Wendell thinks Harry could also take to the stage, and thinks the couple should star in a theatre production of Love Letters.
