Meghan and Harry are reportedly planning to send their child to an American school

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking forward to welcoming their first child in the Spring. Meghan let it slip that she is expecting to give birth in April, and while the couple has been very open with the public and the media about details of their pregnancy, they have been tight-lipped when it comes to revealing the gender.
With all eyes on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, it's no wonder that people are already speculating about what school the royal baby will attend when the time comes.
According to The Times, Harry and Meghan are 'looking' at American schools as an alternative to the usual royal route, Eton.
Although Kensington Palace has not released an official statement - and are unlikely to, considering their first child won't even be born until April - E! has suggested that their little one will attend and American school based in the UK.
A source told the news outlet that the 'want a more diverse education for their child' and that Meghan is 'keen for her child to be fully aware of his or her American heritage.'
Apparently, the couple is interested in ACS Egham International School in Egham, Surry, which offers an American curriculum to students aged 4 to 18. It's also very close to their new home, Frogmore Cottage, so it would make the school run pretty seamless. However, they could choose to follow in Kate and William's footsteps by moving back to London when their firstborn is old enough to go to school, and there are plenty of options in the city, including the American School in St John's Wood.

If they do choose to sent their child to ACS, the private school charges between £10,870 and £25,360 per year, dependant on the student's age.
Considering that Meghan and Harry have ripped up the royal rule book on several occasions, it wouldn't be surprising if they chose to do things a little differently.
They've got plenty of time to decide, though, given that it's at least four years away.
For now, let's just look forward to welcoming Baby Sussex, shall we?
