Matthew McConaughey and his long-term girlfriend Camila Alves are engaged, after the A-list actor popped the question on Christmas Day.

The romantic star surprised his Brazilian model love with an extra-special gift under the tree – a sparkling diamond engagement ring.
Taking straight to Twitter to share his happy news with fans, Matthew wrote: 'just asked camila to marry me, merry Christmas.'
And the delighted pair just couldn’t help but share a sneaky snap of their special celebrations, posting a picture of themselves enjoying a Christmas kiss in front of the tree.
The couple, who met in 2006, have two children, Levi Alves McConaughey, three and 11-month old Vida.
Matthew and Camilla weren’t the only ones celebrating an engagement over the Christmas break.
Strictly Come Dancing star Holly Valance has also been showing off a rather lovely sparkler, after her property-developer boyfriend proposed during a romantic getaway in the Maldives. Billionaire Nick Candy got down on one knee on the beach, as the words Will You Marry Me were lit in fire in the background. And of course, she said yes...
