Matthew Lewis just doesn't get why people find him attractive
Someone get this man a mirror.
Someone get this man a mirror.
Ok fine, if you asked us ten or so years ago if we'd ever fancy Neville Longbottom then we probably would have said no.
But back then he was a shy young wizard who hadn't grown into the Neville Longbottom we all know and love today. The Neville Longbottom who can rock a knitted cardigan whilst slashing the head of Voldemort's snake with Gryffindor's sword (swoon).
As a child actor, it's fair to say Matthew Lewis didn't really receive as much attention as his fellow Harry Potter c0-stars. That is until he stole the hearts of teenage girls (and us adults too) in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two.
Speaking to Digital Spy recently during the Celebration of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando, Matthew revealed that he still just 'doesn't get' why everyone finds is so attractive. Leading us to demand the man be placed in front a mirror immediately.
'Quite often on my Twitter, it's brought up,' he said. 'Hey look, the internet can be a pretty awful place so if people write nice things about you - don't complain. I'm not gonna sit here and say "Oh, people are saying how good-looking I am. It's awful,"' the 27-year-old actor admitted.
'It's flattering, it's lovely. But I honestly don't get it. I've never felt that way and I still don't feel that way.' He said.

Personally we think his fiancee (sorry ladies, but yes Matthew Lewis is engaged) might have something else to say about that, along with every other woman out there.
Instead of focusing on his physical appearance and the adoration that comes with it, Matthew said he would much rather be focusing on his work.
'I'd much rather focus on work and the professional side of stuff,' he revealed. 'But again, I honestly can't begrudge it at all. I'm not gonna sit here and tell you my life is hell because of that. I look at it, I don't understand it.'
Fair enough Matthew, you continue focusing on the work and we'll continue adoring you.
