Mariah Carey sparked a flurry of excitement last month when she hinted that she might be having not one, but two babies. The 40-year-old singer made the mysterious remarks to Radio Disney, but then refused to confirm or deny that she was having twins.
Now Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon has spilt the beans, confirming they will be hearing the pitter patter of two sets of tiny feel in the Carey-Cannon household.
Speaking on his radio show, the excited dad-to-be revealed they were supposed to be keeping the news a secret, but Mariah accidentally let it slip, to - wait for it - none other than Barack Obama.
'They, ironically enough, questioned my wife about, you know, "So, what are you having, are you having twins?",' he said, of the moment Mariah met the President and First Lady backstage at a Charity Christmas concert.
'And at this point she hadn't told anybody anything because doctors advised us to keep it to ourselves until we get further along,' he added.

'And because of the excitement, because of the emotion, she was overwhelmed [and] she shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins.'
Mariah announced her pregnancy in October and this is the couple’s first baby. The new arrivals are due next spring.
