While many new celebrity mums gush about their bundles of joy once they are back in the spotlight, that's not the case for Ms Mariah Carey!
In her first post-baby TV appearance, the superstar singer took the chance to open up on her 'bleak' pregnancy, stating, 'It turned into a really difficult time. (Being) pregnant with twins is different to anything.'
Continuing, she described, 'My body went through so much - you have to keep those twins in as long as possible, but it's a sacrifice you make for them. I was literally 47 weeks pregnant.'
'It was bleak for me' she added. 'I was so uncomfortable back then.'
Despite being 'uncomfortable' at the time, Mariah did show off her baby bump for all to see in a nude cover for Life & Style magazine, weeks before giving birth.
Carey was promoting her jewellery collection with a two hour appearance on the Home Shopping Network, which featured some rather bizarre moments, including directing the camera man not to film her.
