Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are basically living out an unreleased episode of Friends at this point, as Jen An reportedly will be Courteney’s maid of honour at her upcoming wedding. It’s warming our hearts that they’ve taken their more than two decade long friendship off the TV screen and into the real world, especially on one of the biggest moments in anybody’s life.
Courteney is set to marry Snow Patrol guitarist Johnny McDaid, who she has been dating since 2013. While the couple were first engaged in 2014, they took a short break from one another for four months. (Cue Ross Geller screaming in the background.)
They later got back together and will be holding two ceremonies, one in Johnny’s Irish hometown Derry and another glamorous bash in Malibu, California. Jennifer is said to be the maid of honour for both - here's hoping she doesn't have to plan two different hen parties.
A source told The Mirror, ‘Courteney and Jennifer are thick as thieves and they have got even closer in recent months. Courteney wouldn’t want to walk down the aisle without Jennifer by her side. They have a very strong friendship.’
This will be Courteney’s second marriage, as she previously married David Arquette in 1999 and had a daughter named Coco with him. They later separated in 2010 and finalised their divorce in 2013.
Courteney was reportedly Jennifer’s maid of honour at her wedding to Justin Theroux in 2015, but after the couple separated the source claimed that Courteney had become her “rock”. They were also recently spotted buddying up at a Chanel dinner, alongside stars like Priyanka Chopra, Cindy Crawford and Julia Roberts.

Jennifer Aniston isn’t the only star who’ll be in attendance at her pal’s wedding however, as it’s believed that Ed Sheeran of all people will be there. While he might seem like an unusual addition, apparently he was the one who introduced the happy couple to one another and might even sing at the wedding. Fingers crossed he recreates the entire Thinking Out Loud music video at the reception...
