Talking for the first time since he and Madonna divorced three years ago, Guy Ritchie has finally opened up about dating one of the most famous women in the world.
'I enjoyed my first marriage. It's definitely not something I regret,' Ritchie revealed to Details magazine.
He says that having their two children, biological son Rocco, 11, and adopted son David, 6, made the marriage worthwhile.
'The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take. But you move on, don't you?'

The Sherlock Holmes director added: 'I stepped into a soap opera, and I lived in it for quite a long time. I'll probably be more eloquent on it ten years from now.'
'When you end up with a lot of the things you set out to chase and find that you've stumbled into all sorts of hollow victories, then you become deeply philosophical,' he said.
Adding: 'I'm quite happy that that experience was accelerated for me. I'm glad I made money, in other words. And I'm glad I got married.'
Guy and Madonna wed in a lavish ceremony in Scotland in 2000, but separated in 2008. He reportedly refused a share of his former spouse's £300 million fortune, but insisted on sharing custody of their two children.
While Madonna is currently dating toyboy Brahim Zaibat, 24, Guy and his model girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley welcomed their first child, a baby boy in September.
