We want your verdict! Should Lucie Jones have been saved from this weekend's X Factor?
Lucie Jones was the latest wannabe to leave the X Factor last night, after losing out to John and Edward in the public vote.
Leading to a barrage of criticism today, Simon Cowell was given the chance to kick out the twins, who he's consistently professed to despise, and save 18-year-old Jones, but rather than opt for a judges' decision, he instead chose a public vote.

With Jones pitched against the duo in the bottom two, he proclaimed that neither had a chance of winning the show, so a public vote was more fitting.
Now many have proclaimed that Cowell's move makes a mockery of the talent show. With the twins burgeoning popularity amongst the public, it's been suggested Jones stood no chance once the choice was put to the public.
Justifying his decision, Cowell stated that he based the decision on who'd he'd rather see in the competition next Saturday: 'I'd probably rather see the boys,' he admitted.

He's been branded a hypocrite though as on Saturday he told Lucie, 'you are now the strongest girl in this competition.'
This was the second consecutive week that Dannii has lost a contestant, leaving her, like Louis Walsh, with just one act left.
We want to know your opinion: should Lucie have been saved, and was Simon wrong to put the decision to the public? Or are you on team Jedward? Let us know in the comments box below.
