Lipstick Jungle taken off air, reveals Brooke Shields
Lipstick Jungle – the raunchy US drama that was billed as the grown-up Sex and the City – has been axed, according to its star Brooke Shields.
Brooke, 43, who played movie boss Wendy Healy, said: 'It was going to stay then we were just officially told it’s finally not coming back.
'I think a lot of people were really sad, but we hung on a really long time. It was three great years we’ve been working on it.'
Shields added: 'We’re all reeling and trying to figure out what our next move is.'
The glossy show was based on the novel by Sex and the City creator Candace Bushnell.
