Teary Lindsay Lohan tells Ellen: 'I still love Samantha'
Lindsay Lohan made an emotional appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show yesterday, where she revealed her split with Samantha Ronson had completely taken her by surprise.
The young actress looked emotional even as she was arriving at the studio, seemingly wiping away a tear as she entered.
Lindsay told Ellen the break-up 'came out of nowhere'.
She said: 'I had no idea what was going on. I just hadn't seen her in, like, a week. She, like, disappeared.'
Lindsay said she hasn't given up hope of a reconciliation adding: 'I really care about Samantha and we'll see what happens. Maybe when we're fully in the right place. And I love her.'
The actress looked cute in a pretty floral summer dress, but her slight frame has caused concern amongst friends.

Lindsay and Samantha's turbulent relationship came screeching to a halt two weeks ago when the 31-year-old DJ and her family refused to let the actress into a Ronson-run party at Bar Marmont in Hollywood.
The I Heart Ronson event was a bash to celebrate Sam's sister Charlotte's new clothing range.
Since the split, reports have suggested Lindsay is romantically linked to British photographer Chris Jepson, with whom she's been spending a lot of time.
