Appearing on the cover of the US mag, the actress not only shows off a new look, but has apparently turned over a new leaf.
'I was irresponsible. And I'm not making excuses,' she says frankly.
'I'm a completely different person now.'
The 24-year-old completed a 14-day jail sentence last month, followed by a 23-day stint in rehab, after being charged for driving under the influence.

And she admits she's made mistakes...
'I've admitted to the things that I've done,' she explains. 'To, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, ok, cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me.'
But now, she insists, it's time to turn her life around.
'I want my career back,' she says. 'I know that I'm a damn good actress, and it's been my passion since I was a child, and I know that when I care about something, I put 100 percent and more into it.'
The interview, which took place a week before LiLo began her jail sentence, also explores her growing up in front of the constant glare of the world's media.
'These were my college years, but they were in the public eye,' she says.
'I was irresponsible. I was experimenting. I was doing certain things that people do ten times more of when they're in college.'
