Leonardo DiCaprio's St Tropez Charity Ball is expected to be the event of the summer.
Leonardo DiCaprio is hosting his first ever charity gala in St. Tropez and it's going to be fab.
The event is set to take place on the French Riviera at the Domain Bertraud Belieu vineyard, at the heart of the St. Tropez peninsula and will raise funds to protect our planet's last remaining wild areas. Proceeds from the Gala will support global conservation efforts that protect our oceans, forests, wild lands and endangered species.
‘We are facing a tipping point of environmental crisis unprecedented in human history. Our forests, which clean our air, purify our water, and are our best natural defence against climate change, are being clear-cut at alarming rates,' said Leo.
'In our oceans we have already lost 25 per cent of the coral reefs and 90 per cent of the large fish, including sharks. It’s high time we acknowledged that our very survival depends on protecting the ecosystems that sustain life. The Gala in Saint-Tropez is a fundraiser to support organizations and initiatives dedicated to securing a sustainable future for our planet.'
Said to be one of the ‘most glamorous, talked-about and exclusive’ events of the summer, the gala is set in a beautiful location and sponsored by Chopard Jewellery. Check back here tomorrow morning for all the photos and gossip.
