Lea Michele and Cory Monteith looked seriously loved up as they hit the beach during a romantic New Year's break in Hawaii earlier this week.

Stepping out in a teeny orange bikini, Lea showed off her killer beach bod as she larked around with Glee guy Cory, paddling in the surf and snapping many photos of their day.

She may be on vacation, but that hasn't stopped Lea Michele from logging onto Twitter and keeping fans up to date on their trip.

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith saw in the New Year at a luxurious tropical resort on one of the Hawaiian islands, watching a glittering fireworks display as the clocks turned to midnight and tweeting: 'Happy New Year! So excited for 2013!'.

Earlier in the week, the pair enjoyed some R&R at the luxury location.

'In paradise and I've never been happier. Time now to rest, relax and enjoy some fun in the sun! Xo.'

In December last year, Lea Michele gushed about her new beau, revealing Cory Monteith makes her feel like the 'luckiest girl in the world'.

During a chat with American Marie Claire, Ms Michele was more than open on her 6-month relationship with her co-star, explaining she can't remember a time when they weren't a couple.

'I don't even remember a time when he wasn't my boyfriend,' Lea gushed.

'No one knows me better than Cory. No one knows what it's been like to go through this more than he does.

The actress went on to add that Cory makes her feel 'settled and happy' adding that her sultry singing heartthrob makes her 'feel like the luckiest girl in the word.'

High praise indeed!

'Feeling like you have that net underneath you allows you to jump higher and go farther,' she explained.
