It’s not often we get to sneak a peek inside the world of an A-list celebrity. But Gwyneth Paltrow let us do just yesterday this week, when she posted a step-by-step account of her night at the Emmy Awards on her famous GOOP blog.
GLITTERING PICS: THE EMMY AWARDS 2011
Starting with dinner in Paris, the starlet – who won a Creative Arts award for her guest spot on Glee - documented her 24-hour journey to the prestigious Emmys with a fabulous photo diary, snapping pictures every step of the way.
Hopping on a Eurostar back to London, before a flight to LA, Gwynnie began getting ready for the Hollywood do at 2pm, enlisting a team of hair and beauty experts to help create her red carpet look.
The starlet even snapped the glittering Neil Lane jewels she was able to choose from, on loan for the evening. (We're definitely not jealous, then.)
Red carpet ready, it was off to the ceremony, where Ms Paltrow struck a pose for the cameras, before going back stage to present an award.

And duties over, Gwyneth celebrated into the night with Glee pal Ryan Murphy and a host of other friends. All in a hard day’s work. Phew!
Paying tribute to the Glee producer in the blog post, she gushed: ‘May I please thank Ryan Murphy for thinking up Holly Holliday and deciding to call me up about her. Wow.
‘And thanks to the whole Glee family who are among some of the best people I've ever had the good fortune to work with.’
