Singer researching idea while performing in the country
She is one of the most powerful performers in the world and now Lady Gaga is looking to use her privileged position to help some of the worlds poorest children.
The eccentric singer, who is currently in India having performed at the first ever Indian Grand Prix, is hoping to use her fame and fortunes to set up a foundation in her name to help orphaned children.
While carrying out her professional obligations it is believed that Gaga is also using the trip to research the idea and has demanded her management take her to visit two local orphanages.

'Gaga would one day like to set up a foundation in her name to help children and, now her career has really taken off, she feels as if it's the right time to do something,' a source tells The Sun newspaper.
'She isn't the type of celebrity who just throws cash at things though. She wants to research it all properly and do something huge.
