This is the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper news that we weren't expecting
But we're totally here for it.
But we're totally here for it.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are two names that are rarely heard in the same sentence.
Sure, they’re both A-list and highly respected, but with Gaga being an experimental and provocative megastar (remember that meat dress?) and Bradley being your typical guy next door turned critically acclaimed actor, we can’t really see these two running in the same circles.
But it’s an unlikely collaboration between the two A-listers that’s got everyone talking this month.
Yes, really - and we cannot wait.
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are teaming up in an upcoming feature film - and no one saw it coming.
The trailer for the hotly anticipated film, A Star is Born, has been released and everyone’s talking about it - think country music, romance and a lot of nostalgia. We’re in.

Bradley Cooper plays a country music singer who discovers a hidden talent, coming in the form of Lady Gaga.
But it’s not just the storyline that’s got everyone talking with A Star Is Born being a film of firsts, not only Bradley Cooper’s first directional project, but also Lady Gaga’s first leading role in a major motion picture.
'It’s a dream come true and an honor to be a part of this incredible movie. Bradley Cooper’s ability as a director, actor and musician is astounding,' Lady Gaga posted to her Instagram account. 'I can’t wait for people to see this authentic, epic, beautiful love story. It’s called “A Star Is Born,” and I’m beyond thrilled for you to meet Jack and Ally.'
Thought you may have heard of the film before? You probably have, with this being the third remake of the story, with the 1937 version starring Janet Gaynor and Frederic March, and the 1976 version starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
Don’t be fooled though. This film is set to be different from its predecessors, with Lady Gaga actually writing some original songs for the film, with the studio reporting that artists Lukas Nelson, Jason Isbell and Mark Ronson also came onboard to help with song creation.
A Star Is Born is due to hit cinemas on October 5th 2018 and we cannot wait.
