The healthy birth will come as welcome relief for Kym and Jamie, who suffered the tragic loss of their first child Archie back in 2009 - after he was born 18 weeks prematurely and died shortly after birth.
The actress - who has two children from a previous marriage - was forced to take early maternity leave from Coronation Street following a bout of the flu, and had been confined to her bed in recent days.
'This pregnancy has been really difficult,' Kym said previously. 'A nightmare, in fact. We've been on eggshells.'
'But it’s lovely when we see her on the scan and when I feel her wriggling.'
Congratulations to the happy couple!
