Kylie Minogue is ready to take over our tellies as she gives fans a sneak peek with an Instagram snap of her first day in her new role. The petite songstress is getting us excited about the return of The Voice - which, sadly, isn't coming back to our screens until Spring 2014 - with a teaser snap that she posted to her Instagram account on Monday.
Kylie - who flew in from Hong Kong for the occasion -looked chic in a white tee, loose-fitting black trousers and heels, her hair in soft waves, as she playfully posed and tugged on her top in the pic, which she captioned: 'First day at school.....I mean, work! @BBCTheVoiceUK.'
The new season of The Voice, which sees Kylie replacing coach Jessie J, kicked off Monday evening with a night out for Kylie and fellow judges Will.i.am and Tom Jones, as well as Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson (taking over from The Script's Danny O'Donoghue), at the Smoke bar and restaurant in Manchester's Malmaison hotel.
The new series of the show begins a round of blind auditions - which will run through Sunday - in Salford, today.
Kylie - much to the excitement of everyone on Team MC - was announced as a judge on The Voice last month, revealing in a statement:
'I'm very excited. I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series. Will I be competitive? Probably even more than even I imagine! Watch this space!'
