Kristen Stewart has opened up on 'making mistakes' in an interview to promote Twilight Breaking Dawn - Part 2, revealing 'interesting things happen' if you take the wrong path.

Speaking to Mexican magazine 15 a 20 during her publicity tour, Kristen, who cheated on Robert Pattinson with married film director Rupert Sanders earlier this year, explained she thought it was important to be 'OK with your own fears'.

'If you're an honest person, you'll make mistakes, but it'll be OK,' she continued.

'The most interesting things happen after making mistakes.'

The actress was also asked whether she thought love changed over time, answering: 'It's different for everyone. People are capable of living in different ways.'

The magazine also quizzed Kristen Stewart's boyfriend Robert Pattinson, asking whether filming Twilight with Kristen has changed the way he feels about love.

'I haven't really thought about that,' he said. 'I don't think it's changed that much. I don't think the way you see it changes much. You make your decisions, and it depends on the person you fall in love with anyway.

On how his life has changed in the last four years, he added: 'I'm still young. I'm still trying to run my life, so there's not much time to reflect.

'I feel like someone just put me in charge of a train that is out of control, and I'm finally learning how to be in charge of it. It's hard to deal and accept what's happened.'
