Kristen Stewart will reprise her role in the next film but this time Rupert Sanders will not be directing
Kristen Stewart proves she’s the one with the power when it comes to picking roles as it’s confirmed she will return to play the female lead in the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel. The film hit headlines for all the wrong reasons last year when it emerged the actress had a fling with the project’s married director, Rupert Sanders.

The film’s producers will no doubt hope it’ll be a case of second time lucky with the firm focus being on the sequel as opposed to any behind-the-scenes drama. Universal Pictures chairman, Adam Fogelson confirmed that Kristen Stewart is to reprise her role during a presentation at CinemaCon on Tuesday.
To avoid unnecessary tension on set, Rupert Sanders will not be returning to direct. However Liam Hemsworth who plays the Huntsman, is believed to star in the sequel according to IMDb.
KRISTEN STEWART RUMOURED TO BE WRITING FILM SCRIPTS
It’s not known if the rest of the cast who include Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin will join Liam and Kristen, but it goes without saying Rupert’s ex, Liberty Ross, who played Snow White’s mother is not expected to make a return.
