Kristen Stewart admits cheating on Robert Pattinson with public apology

Kristen Stewart has made a public statement about the reports she cheated on Robert Pattinson

Kristen Stewart has admitted cheating on Robert Pattinson with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. 

In a shock move, Kristen has done two things we never expected her to do - she's made a public statement apologising for having an affair with married director Rupert Sanders and addressed the fact that she and her Twilight co-star are in a relationship. 

Kristen Stewart said: 'I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected.

'This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.'

News broke that Kristen had cheated on Rob with married Sanders, 41, this morning after photographs of the pair appearing to kiss were published. 

American magazine, Us Weekly broke the story and the photographer that apparently snapped the pair in an intimate embrace told the publication: 'He was all over her. (They) would only take a break when they thought someone was walking by. It seemed like they couldn't get enough.'

Sanders is married to Liberty Ross, 33, who starred alongside Kristen in Snow White and the Huntsman. They have two children together. Last night, Sanders' model wife, posted a series of cryptic Tweets, including a quote from Marilyn Monroe, which read: 'Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.'

But today, the model's Twitter account has been deleted.It would seem that Kristen has got herself into a very awkward situation with the promotional tour for Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2 coming up, during which she and Rob will be forced to spend large amounts of time together.
