Game of Thrones fans can finally oggle over Jon Snow’s famous smoulder off-screen, as Kit Harington lands his first ambassadorial campaign for Jimmy Choo.
The 27 year-old actor has cleaned up nicely to star in the luxury brand’s first campaign for the new Jimmy Choo Man fragrance, as well as the footwear line and a new collaboration with Carrera Sunglasses. Harington is no stranger to the camera – he stars in the ever-popular fantasy drama Game of Thrones – but this is his first gig as a poster-boy. We think the job suits him well.
Heading up all three campaigns, the British heartthrob said of the shoot: ‘It is incredibly exciting to work with a brand that is so highly regarded in fashion, so it is a real honour to be the face of their campaign. The shoot was great fun and the location was stunning with panoramic views across LA and working with Peter [Lindbergh] was an amazing experience, he is such a talented photographer and gave great direction.’
Indeed. Harington looks undeniably handsome.
And Kit wasn't the only one who was pleased: 'Kit was the perfect choice for the campaign – he has an innate confidence and projects a playfully rebellious nature,' said Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo Creative Director.
'He has an overtly masculine style that feels effortlessly cool and a great sense of humour, and beneath that intensity he is a true gentleman. Peter Lindbergh perfectly captured the spirit of the Jimmy Choo man.'
