Girls Aloud starlet Kimberley Walsh was a vision in shimmering silver as she stepped on stage to make her debut solo appearance at the National Television Awards last night.
But while her full-length gown earned top marks with fashion fans, reactions to her performance weren't quite so positive.

Kimberley treated the audience to a rendition of her very first solo single, a cover of Randy Crawford's One Day I'll Fly Away.
And viewers quickly took to Twitter to share their thoughts on her performance.

On user wrote: 'Just Watching Kimberly Walsh performing Randy Crawford's One day I'll fly away, wish she would its awful.. #ClassicRuined'.
Another compared it to Nicole Kidman's performance in 2001 flick Moulin Rouge, writing 'Never thought I'd praise nicole kidmans singing!! But thanks to Kimberly Walsh currently murdering one day I'll fly away Nic gets it #nta'
Others said Kimberley should 'stick to dancing in the future' and branded hers 'the worst performance of the night'.
Luckily, it wasn't all bad.Many Kimberley's Girls Aloud fans showered her with praise, branding it 'amazing'.
'You were amazing at NTA love new song xx,' one wrote.
