Guess what, guys: You've been pronouncing 'Saint West' all wrong
It's not quite pronounced like that, actually...
It's not quite pronounced like that, actually...
Despite reports that little baby West would be called Easton (geddit - Easton West?) or Robert (after Kim's late father), the couple have gone for a much more unusual name - Saint - but how do you pronounce it?
According to Twitter speculation, Saint's name is actually pronounced 'San' (think Yves Saint Laurent), but a recent interview with Kris Jenner, in which she didn't correct a reporter pronouncing it the English way, has prompted some Kardashian fans to insist the baby's name is pronounced 'Saynt.'
What do you think? Given Kimye's love of all things French, we really wouldn't put it past them...
Last week, Kim announced the baby name with a picture of the family together (in emojis, natch), with the simple caption 'SAINT WEST'.
Previously, Kim and Kanye announced the birth of their second baby together.
Sharing a photo of her and Kanye holding hands to her website, Kim wrote: 'To our fans: Kanye and I welcome our baby boy! Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West welcomed the arrival of their son this morning. Mother and son are doing well.'

Baby West was born a few weeks early, it seems, because a few months back, Kimye revealed that the due date for their second baby was Christmas Day. As in the same day as actual Jesus. For real.
The second coming (because North West was, obviously, the first) made perfect sense for Kanye, who recently released a song called ‘I am God’ and, of course, the ‘eponymous’ Yeezus album back in 2013. Cue the fan shrines and memes in their thousands.
All jokes aside, Kim and Kanye planned it that way for a reason. The couple booked into the Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA on 25th December as, while Kim planned to have a natural birth, staff would have had to deliver via caesarean if there were any complications at all, as she was a high risk after experiencing Placenta Accreta when pregnant with her first baby.
She recently spoke about her fertility struggles and worries about future family planning. ‘It's been really emotional,’ she said of her attempts to get pregnant for a second time.
‘One doctor told me I would need my uterus removed after I had another baby - I could only have one more.’ ‘Meeting people at my fertility doctor's office who are going through the same things I'm going through, I thought, 'Why not share my story?’’
