Kim Kardashian reveals the real reason she split from stylist Monica Rose

The Kardashian Krew has yet speak publicly about their recent split with longtime stylist Monica Rose, save for the entire family unfollowing the stylist on Instagram.

But now, Kim Kardashian West, who has known the pro for years and worked with Rose before her Kanye-induced style makeover, is opening up about her own issues with the celebrity stylist. Rose (pictured below)had also previously styled Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner and worked with Khloé Kardashian for over a decade.

During a Plead the Fifth segment on a recent episode of Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live, Cohen asked Kim to reveal why her entire family recently unfollowed Monica on social media, and are no longer associated with the pro. And after a slight hesitation, Kardashian shares that her own drama with the stylist actually has nothing to do with her sisters’.

'I haven’t worked with her in maybe four years, so my reason is not connected to this,' she tells Cohen, hinting that there was another major impetus for her sisters’ recent split from the stylist.

'But I will say that I read that it was said that she was the reason for my makeover — my makeover when I met Kanye — and I will say that Kanye got me a new team and we kind of documented it,' added Kardashian West. 'So I think people think that’s the reason, and for me, maybe that is the reason. I needed a new vibe.'

But as for the reason all of her sisters left Rose in the dust, that’s for them to share: 'You’d have to ask Khloe and Kendall and Kylie and the girls,' she tells Cohen.

By the end of the segment — one of Cohen’s more famous bits in which he asks stars three questions and they can skip or 'plead the fifth' to one — the reality star forgot to plead the fifth for any of her questions, and wished she didn’t comment about Rose at all. 'I forgot!' she said. 'I should have pleaded the fifth for Monica.'

Rose has not yet commented about the split from the Kardashian family. However, last month, she told PEOPLE that she felt 'blessed' to have worked with them in the past.

'I’ve actually been very fortunate to be able to work with such amazing girls, I’ve surprised myself and how hard I’ve worked to be able to be where I am,' Rose told PEOPLE. 'It wouldn’t even be fair for me to say, ‘Oh I want to work with this person, or that person,’ because I’m so fortunate to be able to be where I am and work with the amazing women that I have. I’m super blessed, I guess I can say.'
