Kim Kardashian & Kanye West: New Reports Say They're NOT Engaged

As rumours continue to circulate about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's possible engagement, come and see what sources say is really going on between the new parents

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been the focus of global headlines ever since the reality TV star went into labour five weeks early on 15 June. And now the couple are the subject of further tabloid reports as it's emerged that they might be engaged.

Sources tell The Sun that Kanye West asked Kim Kardashian to marry him just days after she gave birth to their new baby daughter, thought to be called North West. The paper reports that they are planning a wedding in Paris this September.

The ring – supposedly a £500,00 rare black and tiger-stripe diamond - was given to Kim as what the US calls a 'push present' – a gift given to a new mum in the delivery room following the birth (we love the sound of this).

The source claims: 'Kanye wasted no money in making sure Kim had the best of everything while she’s in hospital. He has spent half a million on a ring as a push present and had it designed months ago in preparation.

'He’s even more in love with her now than ever and they can’t wait to get married.'

But new reports today from Hollywood state that the pair – who returned home from Cedars-Senai Hospital on Friday - are NOT engaged after all.

A friend of the famous couple tells People magazine that while they do plan to get hitched eventually, Kanye has yet to pop the question to Kim. They said: 'I can't imagine them not getting married. That's in their future!'

The source also adds that Kanye has been real hands-on dad and is 'relaxed and comfortable' in his new role.

They added: 'They're putting work aside right now to focus on the family. They're in it 100%.'

As yet, there has been no confirmation on the baby name or the proposal, so we'll just wait for a quote from Kim's camp before buying our hats for the big day...
