Did Kill Bill star David Carradine commit suicide, or die accidentally after a sex act went wrong?
Kill Bill star David Carradine has been found dead in a Bangkok hotel room.
Police first called the death a 'suspicious' suspected suicide after a maid found the actor’s naked body hanging in a closet in his hotel room.
He was found in a sitting position with a yellow rope wrapped around his neck and genitals, attached to the closet rail.
Police initally suggested they believe the actor – who played the murderous Bill from Quentin Tarantino’s famous movie title - committed suicide, but his manager refuses to believe that.
‘I can tell you 100 percent that he would have never committed suicide,’ Tiffany Smith, told People. ‘He was too full of life.’
There have been unconfirmed suggestions that Carradine - who starred alongside Um Thurman in Kill Bill - accidentally killed himself through asphyxiation after engaging in an auto-erotic sex act.

'There was a rope tied around his neck and another rope tied to his genitals, and the two ropes were tied together and they hung in the closet,' Lieutenant General Worapong Siewpreecha said.
'Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide.'
And Police Commander Somprasong Yenthuam said: 'All I can really say is that nobody else was involved.
'We have checked the CCTV's and nobody else came in and out of his room.
'The room was also in perfect order. Nothing else seems to have been touched. There was some money lying around on a table and a bottle of drinking water and some water in a glass. '
Carradine had spoken openly in the past of his battle with drugs, alcohol and suicidal thoughts, but his manager said that he was in good spirits, and enjoying working on his new movie, Stretch, in Thailand.
He also had three more movies lined up for his return to the States.
‘We are not saying it's an accidental death because we don't know,’ says Smith. ‘Right now we are just letting everyone know that it's under investigation and we'll see ... I just know he didn't do this to himself.’
David’s co-star Michael Madsen echoed his manager’s thoughts, telling Larry King Live he did not believe the star – who was married five times and had two daughters – killed himself.
David’s family has spoken of the sorrow at their loss.
Carradine’s niece, actress Martha Plimpton, expressed the family's grief: ‘My Uncle David was a brilliantly talented, fiercely intelligent and generous man.
‘He was the nexus of our family in so many ways, and drew us together over the years and kept us connected.
‘I adored him as a child, and as an adult I admired and respected him. We will all miss him terribly.’
