We LOVE Kerry Washington. Almost as much as her super-fan Lena Dunham, who interviews the Scandal star in the June issue of Marie Claire. Fabulous, hardworking and oh-so-wise, she's not short on pearls of wisdom, that's for sure. Here's some of our favourites from the interview:
ON CHILDHOOD
'When I was a kid and people would say, 'Oh, she's so cute,' my mother would say, "She's also really smart." I never trafficked in that stuff.'
