Kelly Osbourne slams Kate Middleton’s thrifty style

Kelly Osbourne criticises the Duchess of Cambridge for recycling her fashion looks

She’s given many a celebrity a tongue-lashing – most recently Christina Aguilera – and now Kelly Osbourne has taken a swipe at Kate Middleton’s fashion choices.

The TV presenter – who stars as one of the hosts on E!’s Fashion Police – criticised the Duchess of Cambridge’s sartorial style in an interview in the States on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Kelly told the chat show king: ‘In England they are like look how thrifty she's being, showing the British public that the royals are in a recession as well. Only in this country they call it a faux pas.’

She added: ‘Well, I'm sorry but if I had that job I would only wear it once. If I am going to be the future bloody Queen of England I'm going to wear that dress once because I'm giving up the rest of my life, all of my privacy, at least I can get a new dress every day.'

The Duchess is a fan of recycling her looks, most recently wearing a pale gold brocade dress coat by Jane Troughton to Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall's wedding last weekend, which she also wore to the 2006 nuptials of Larua Parker Bowles.

Kelly's latest outburst comes just a day after branding pop singer Christina Aguilera a ‘fat b***h’ on her Fashion Police show. On the programme she launched a foul-mouthed tirade at the singer, in particular, criticising her new fuller figure.

Voicing her opinions on one of Christina’s recent red carpet looks, Kelly quipped: 'Maybe she's just becoming the fat b***h she was always born to be. I don't know.’
