It's officially over between Katy Perry and Russell Brand.

The Firework singer and the long-haired lothario split in December after just 14 months of marriage, and despite reaching an agreement on the settlement in February, they had to wait six months until their union was officially dissolved due to Californian law.

KATY PERRY CRIES OVER SPLIT FROM RUSSELL BRAND

Despite only being single as of last Saturday, both Russell Brand and Katy Perry have both moved on to new partners since December.

Russell was well-known as a ladies' man prior to his October 2010 wedding to Katy. Since their split, he has been linked to TV presenter Emily Hartridge and fashion stylist Maeve Reilly.

Katy Perry briefly dated Florence and the Machine drummer Dan Ackroyd, but the Wide Awake singer has denied rumours that she'll be settling down any time soon, saying that while she was happy to 'flirt', she was still 'healing' from her relationship.

RUSSELL BRAND CLAIMS HE HAS NEVER BEEN HAPPIER

Russell Brand recently admitted that he still holds a torch for his ex-wife. He told Ellen DeGeneres: 'I still love her as a human being.'
