Katie Price and boyfriend Alex Reid attacked at fighting event
Katie Price has got herself into more hot water after being attacked with her boyfriend Alex Reid at an Extreme Brawl Fighting Championship event.
It seems the organised fight spurred onlookers, who had been drinking all evening, to make threats on Price and Reid at the after-show party.
The brawl saw 31-year-old Katie pushed over, while her cagefighter boyfriend was hit in the face by the drunk pair, friends of gypsy fighter Tony Giles.
The evening’s promoter, Andy Jardine revealed: ‘One of the fighters fancied his chances and wanted to prove himself by offering Alex outside.
'Alex said, '"I'm not being funny but you've just had your first fight and lost and I've fought some of the best in the world." 'He didn't like that answer and the fight started there.'
Although Reid was confronted by the duo, sources at the event told The Sun newspaper that Reid had ‘asked for it’.

He said: ‘He wound me up. He’s an arrogant w****** who was walking around like he owned the place.’
He added: ‘We had a problem with him and were going to sort it out, but he chickened out. He deserves to get his head kicked in.' Price and Reid had pair £1000 for an exclusive VIP table at the Extreme Brawl evening, held at the Radisson Edwardian hotel in West London.
A friend of Katie’s revealed: ‘The fight broke out because some gipsies were winding up Alex.
‘He didn't retaliate but people he was with got involved. It turned into a riot.
'Organisers were trying to get Jordan and Alex out of the venue but the guys who were fighting were just making it impossible. They were lucky not to get hurt.’
