Katie Price says she was a victim of rape as a young girl
Katie Price has admitted that she was raped on more than one occasion when she was younger.
The glamour model made the revelations in her weekly column for OK! Magazine, saying: ‘Rape is a subject very close to my own heart. I was raped when I was younger, more than once.'
Katie chose to open up about her painful past in response to allegations that new man, Alex Reid, has starred in a porn film which glorified rape.
The decision to go public about her experiences came after Katie admitted she was ‘appalled’ when the headlines hit that her cagefighter boyfriend was criticised for allegedly filming a rape scene in gangster movie, Killer Bitch.
The 31-year-old claims the accusations concerning Reid’s film role are ‘completely untrue’ and insists she would not be dating Reid if the reports were true.
‘I’d never be associated with anything or anyone so sick,’ says Price.

She added: ‘I've never talked about this before, but I feel I have to now because I was so hurt by these accusations that I would not take a subject, which affects so many women, seriously.'
Price also revealed that Reid’s family have been effected by a rape incident and that he too is ‘horrified by these claims’.
Katie used her magazine column to speak directly to women who have been effected by rape, writing: 'I urge any woman who has been affected by rape and needs help to talk to somebody they trust about it.'
