Welsh warbler Katherine Jenkins has spoken publicly over a previous rape attack for the first time.
Appearing on Piers Morgan's Life Stories, Katherine broke down as she told of the ordeal, which happened when she was a student in London.
Aged just 19 the singer was walking home alone after an evening with friends from Royal Academy Of Music, where she was studying.
She recalls, 'I was walking across the bridge, near Paddington. I felt someone too close to me and he, within seconds, was in front of me, trying to drag me down this gangway and the police believe he was trying to rape me.
'Somehow I managed to get out of his grip. I wanted to kill him. I was so angry about it.'
During the interview the star also talked about her experimentation with drugs
