Kate Winslet is expecting her first baby with Ned Rocknroll, just six months after their wedding.
Kate Winslet is pregnant with her third child, a spokesperson for the actress has confirmed today.
The 37-year-old actress married Richard Branson's nephew, Ned Rocknroll, six months ago after a whirlwind romance. It'll be the first child for the pair and they are both said to be "delighted". The baby is due later this year.
Kate already has two children from previous marriages – Mia, 12, whose father is Jim Threapleton. Kate was married to Jim for three years from 1998 to 2001. She is also mum to 10-year-old Joe, from her marriage to Sam Mendes, which ended in 2010 after seven years.
Kate famously met Ned Rocknroll, who works at Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic firm, while on holiday at Necker Island in 2011. She carried Richard's 90-year-old mother to safety after a horrific house fire.
Back in a 2006 interview, Kate admitted: "I’m hoping to have more kids. I don’t know whether one or two. Oh, God, I would love to have more."
Ned was born Ned Abel Smith, before legally changing his name by deed poll in 2008. He has also been married before.
Congrats, guys! We can't wait for for Baby Rocknroll...
