So THIS is how Kate and Wills will spend Valentine's day

Kensington Palace has confirmed Kate Middleton's plans for Valentine's day this February - and sadly, they don't involve Prince William. Instead, Kate will be spending the day meeting air cadets at an RAF base in Cambridgeshire. It seems that even on the most romantic day of the year, duty still calls...
This will be Kate's third visit to the organisation since she became Royal Patron and Honorary Air Commandant of the Air Cadet Organisation in December 2015, after Prince Philip stepped down from the role.
'Her Royal Highness will join the cadets as they view a Tutor aircraft, and participate in a personal development training session,' a statement from the Palace said. Kate will also get the chance to use a flight simulator during the visit - which to be fair does sound quite fun, and something Prince William, a helicopter pilot, will likely be a bit envious of.
It's not exactly a candlelit dinner for two, but Kate and William have an alternative opportunity to celebrate this month - it's been confirmed that they will attend the 2017 BAFTAs ceremony together, on the 12th February at the Royal Albert Hall. This is a turn up for the books, as some reports previously suggested that Kate Middleton's BAFTAs appearance was considered a distraction from the other celebs in attendance, (organisers were worried she would 'outshine' the A-listers, apparently)...
Let's hope that the couple get to spend some proper quality time together for their sixth wedding anniversary in April, instead. And whatever they end up doing to celebrate Valentine's day together this year, they still have a place in our hearts as one of the most adorable couples around.
