Kate Middleton was the centre of attention once again last night, wowing in a delicate Alice Temperley dress at a reception at Buckingham Palace.
The Duchess of Cambridge joined the Queen at the special event, held in honour of Olympians and Paralympians who took part in the 2012 Olympics.

Arriving at the reception without Prince William, who is thought to be on RAF duty in Anglesey, Kate Middleton got her styling spot on, in the dress by British Designer Temperley, complete with pretty, sheer sleeves and adorned with delicate pink applique flowers.
On her feet, the Duchess wore black suede courts, accessorising her dress with a dazzling diamond bracelet we've seen on several occasions before, a tiny black clutch, and of course, her usual, impossibly glossy locks.
Kate joined the Queen and Princess Anne in meeting Team GB athletes, happily chatting with guests, and even enjoying a giggle with members of the women's hockey team, who she first met during a visit to the Olympic park earlier this year.

Guests were joined by Prime Minister David Cameron, who said: 'Tonight it's very, very generous of Her Majesty to open up Buckingham Palace and have everybody in.
'I think it's a lovely finish to an amazing year for British Olympians and Paralympians.'
Yesterday it was revealed Kate Middleton spends a whopping £102, 379 a year maintaining her signature style, with hair treatments, facials, personal trainers, and, of course, clothes all contributing to the total.
£8,000 of that is estimated to be spent on keeping her glossy locks in check, while more than £35,000 goes on clothes.
