Kate Middleton and Prince William have joined the Queen on day four of her Diamond Jubilee tour of Scotland.

William and Kate have made a special trip to Scotland where Prince William was installed as a Knight of the Order of the Thistle, the highest honour available in Scotland.

For the event, Kate stepped out in a custom-made pale yellow coat by Emilia Wickstead, worth £1,200, which she teamed with a Whiteley hat that she was first spotted in at the Epsom Derby.

As a lovely touch, Kate, 30, also carried a folded Strathearn scarf as a nod to her Scottish title as the Countess of Strathearn.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh and the Princess Royal for the Thistle Service held at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh.
