Kate Middleton To Visit Set Of TV Show Shameless For Charity

Kate Middleton will visit a school on the deprived estate where the Channel 4 comedy is filmed

Kate Middleton is believed to be a Downton Abbey fan, so it comes as a surprise that she’s going to be on the set of Channel 4 comedy, Shameless - the period drama's polar opposite. Unfortunately it won’t be to perform a cameo or have a tour, instead she’ll be continuing her charity work there later this month. KATE MIDDLETON HAS THE MOST ENVIED WARDROBE AMONG WOMEN

The Duchess of Cambridge will visit the Willows Primary School on the estate in Wythenshawe, Manchester to announce Place2Be and Comic Relief’s latest initiative that will help children affected by alcohol and substance abuse.

Speaking of Kate Middleton’s upcoming visit, Benita Refson, chief executive of Place2Be, said: ‘We are tremendously grateful that the Duchess is supporting this project. The royal has been keen to continue all of her charity commitments as the count down to the birth of her baby continues. Last week she accompanied the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Charles to Scotland to open a new outdoor centre for young cadets as well as visiting a navy base, homeless shelter and taking a tour of the velodrome in Glasgow.
