Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has a number of exciting charity engagements lined up this month, as she returns to her solo spotlight for the very first time since giving birth to Prince George in July.
The royal mum will be the guest of honour at a lavish fundraising gala dinner on Thursday 24 October, just days after returning to her royal duties from maternity leave.
The event, hosted by 100 Women In Hedge Funds, will be held at the Kensington Palace State Apartments, so Kate won't have far to travel at the end of the evening, as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge moved into their brand new home at Kensington Palace Apartment 1A earlier this week.
Kate attended the very same event in 2011, which raises funds for one of her charities, Action On Addiction. She will also present Dame Amelia Fawcett, DBE, with the European Industry Leadership Award.
Next week, Kate will take part in a SportsAid workshop at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where she'll watch young athletes compete and will join in with an educational workshop.
Earlier this month, she returned to the red carpet for the first time since giving birth to Prince George in July and wowed the paps with a floor-length sequinned Jenny Packham gown.
